The draw for the preliminary rounds of the Women's Champions League took place in Nyon on Friday. RSCA Women will face the Serbian club of ŽFK Crvena zvezda. The game will be played on Wednesday 4 September.
As in previous seasons, the preliminary round consists of a mini-tournament. There are two semi-finals and a final to be played. All of those games are played at a single venue in Malta. If the RSCA Women win their semi-final against ŽFK Crvena zvezda, they will face the winner of the tie between FK Breznica (MNE) and Birkirkara FC (MLT) in the final.
If Dennis Moerman's players manage to win these two games, they will then play in another (and final) preliminary round. This one will be played against a single opponent in two ties, home and away. The winner goes straight into the Women Champions League group stages.
Come on you Mauves.
