The Women’s Champions League live on Mauve TV

The RSCA Women are currently in Malta to feature in a qualifying mini-tournament for the Women's Champions League. The first game will kick off this Wednesday evening at 5.45pm against Red Star Belgrade. Sporting will play two games there, and both will be broadcasted live on Mauve TV.

If they beat the Serbian club, Sporting will play a final on Saturday against the winner of the match between Birkirkara (MLT) and Breznica (MNE). Two wins this week would take RSCA Women through to the final qualifying round. Even if the RSCA Women lose to Red Star, they will still play a second game in Malta, against the loser of the other semi-final.

ROAD TO THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

Once again this year, our players kick off their European campaign with a mini-tournament featuring four teams. In the semi-finals, they will take on Red Star Belgrade (Serbia). In the meantime, locals Birkirkara take on Breznica (Montenegro). The winners of both semi-finals will go head-to-head on Saturday evening to try and qualify for the next round.

If they manage to win this qualifying tournament, our players will then have to overcome another tie decided in the first leg (18 September) and the second leg (25 September) in order to qualify for the group stage of the Women's Champions League. If they lose in either the semi-finals or the final, the Mauves' European campaign will be over.

The access to the platform is available for €2.5 per month (min. 12 months) or €25 per year. Mauve+ Silver and Mauve+ Gold members also have access to Mauve TV.
