The first round of the Lotto Super League came to an end last Friday. With a convincing 0-5 win at Charleroi, they closed the gap on leaders OHL by 5 points.
In the previous two seasons, OHL was also in the lead in December, before Sporting clinched first place and won the championship.
The RSCA Women have been playing at a new home ground since the start of the season: the renovated RSCA Football Academy. Dave Mattheus' players also played the topper against OHL at Lotto Park.
Being the most watched women's team in terms of viewers on the Eleven DAZN channels, the RSCA Women are also the only women's team in Belgium to have had all their official games broadcasted live in 2023/24.
Out of the 13 games our women's team played this season (9 in the Lotto Super League, 2 in the Belgian Cup and 2 in the Champions League), 11 were broadcasted live on Mauve TV, while the remaining two were broadcasted on Eleven DAZN.
The RSCA Women are about to start the second round against KAA Gent this weekend. They’ll aim for a seventh title in a row. Whether at the RSCA Football Academy or online on Mauve TV, Sporting fans are more than welcome to support our players.
