By 2024, the number of girls playing football in Europe should double. That is why Brussels Football organizes football training sessions for girls from the age of 5, together with a dozen amateur clubs in Brussels. RSC Anderlecht supports the project and all clubs that are part of it. Among them also FEFA (Football Etudes Famille Anderlecht), a partner club of RSCA, where such a training took place on Wednesday.
Wednesday afternoon, our women's coach Patrick Wachel visited the Girls Football Academy at FEFA together with three players from our U23 team. Our players kicked a ball with some eager to learn girls and helped them with good advice during some technical exercises. Then it was time for signatures. To end the day, all girls from the Girls Football Academy - in addition to a day full of football fun - also received equipment to take home.
