Our RSCA Women won their sixth consecutive national title last weekend. Work is already underway for next season, as none other than Red Flame Tine De Caigny is returning to RSC Anderlecht on a two year-deal.
Tine played for RSC Anderlecht between 2017 and 2021. In purple and white, she won four titles and also won the Golden Boot in 2020.
The striker is also a crucial player for the Red Flames. At the age of 25, she has already played 86 games for the Belgian national team, scoring 40 goals already. At the 2022 UEFA Women’s Euro, she scored the only goal against Italy, securing the Belgian national team a spot in the quarterfinals of a European tournament for the first time ever.
In 2021, Tine made the move to Germany's Hoffenheim, where she also played in the Champions League that same year. After two seasons in Germany, she will return to RSC Anderlecht as from next season, wearing the familiar number 6 on her back.
Welcome back, Tine.
