The RSCA Women are champions

For the seventh time in a row, the RSCA Women crowned themselves champions, and that after a 4-2 victory in front of more than 2,000 spectators at an atmospheric Lotto Park. A historic achievement.

Although the 23/24 season had a difficult start. The RSCA Women had to contend with injuries, suffered an early-season defeat at Lotto Park against their rivals from Leuven, and were eliminated by the same OHL in the Belgian Cup. But purple-white came back, and how.

Since the defeat in the Cup on 11 November, Dave Mattheus' team did not lose a single time in the Lotto Super League. On Saturday 23 March, it also added to the league attendance record, with more than 2,600 Sporting Girls and Sporting Boys against Club YLA. In the play-offs, purple-white finished it all off, with eight wins and two draws that made RSCA champions.

Purple-White's ambitions did not end with this title. This season was marked by a thorough professionalisation of the women's operation. A professionalisation marked by an extended technical staff to guide our players, full training days at the club, a new framework for our youth training and the start of the Stellar project, international friendly matches, and so much more.

The best is yet to come.
Congrats, girls.
