After facing the Netherlands (2-1 victory) and Scotland in Glasgow (1-1), the Red Flames will now face the formidable finalists of the recent World Cup: England. First away this Friday, October 27 at 8.45pm, and then at home, at Leuven's Den Dreef stadium, on Tuesday, October 30 at 8.30pm.
For their part, the Red Flames U23s will play two friendly training matches. Esther Buabadi, Lore Jacobs and Fran Meersman are in the squad that will host Norway in Deinze on Thursday October 26 at 4:00 pm (in Deinze), before travelling to Denmark on Tuesday October 30 at 5:00 pm. Véronique Zang Bikoula has been selected for the Red Flames U19s, who will play a Euro U19 qualifier at home against Ireland (25/10), the Netherlands (28/10) and the Faroe Islands (31/10).
Sakina Ouzraoui Diki, Ștefania Vătafu and Ludmila Matavkova have also rejoined their selections. Morocco will take on Namibia in a two-legged tie as part of the pre-Olympic tournament (October 26 at 6:00 pm and October 31 at 7:00 pm). Our other two players will face each other twice. Romania and Slovakia are in the same Women's Nations League group. Our two players will meet on Friday October 27 at 6.00pm in Romania and on Tuesday October 31 at 3.30pm.
