Dennis Moerman bids farewell to RSCA Women

Dennis Moerman steps down as head coach of RSCA Women due to personal reasons, a decision fully supported by RSC Anderlecht. Assistant coach Farid Goreishvand will take over as interim head coach until the winter break.

Dennis Moerman took on the role of T1 for RSCA Women in the summer of 2024 after playing a crucial part as assistant coach during the team's seventh consecutive title win under Dave Mattheus. Moerman was also instrumental in enhancing the youth academy, promoting young talents to the first team this season. Currently, RSCA Women hold the second position in the Super League standings.

RSC Anderlecht extends its heartfelt gratitude to Dennis for his dedication over the past seasons and stands by him in his difficult decision to step down due to personal reasons.

Farid Goreishvand (35) will take over from Dennis as head coach of RSCA Women at least until the winter break. Farid was already part of Dennis Moerman's staff as an assistant coach, and also pulled along the ambitious Stellar project to discover and coach young talents across the country. He also has experience, including as the head coach of KV Mechelen.

Dave Mattheus, , Director RSCA Women:

"It is with a heavy heart that we bid farewell to Dennis. He was a key figure in the progress we have made with RSCA Women in recent seasons, and we want to sincerely thank him for his invaluable contributions. We wish him all the best for the future."
