On Saturday, May 13, the RSCA Women played the final game of their title season at the Lotto Park. And they celebrated that tenth title in club history in style. The game ended 5-0 against KAA Gent, with goals by Sarah Wijnants, Michelle Colson, Esther Buabadi, Stefania Vatafu and Allie Thornton.
For some of the girls, it was their last game in purple & white. Justien Odeurs hanging up her gloves, she received a standing ovation and an honorary wall at her substitution. Club player Charlotte Tison, Mariam Toloba and Michelle Colson also played their last game for RSCA.
The Lotto Park was the place to be for fans of women’s football. Before the match there was entertainment, grime, and street football. Freestyle player Juliette entertained those in attendance, and at halftime BX Brussels girls and RSCA youth players held a shoot-out.
