Seraina Friedli, the experienced Swiss international, signs a contract with the RSCA Women for the 2023-2024 season. The 30-year-old goalkeeper replaces Justien Odeurs, who hung up her boots last season.
Our new number 1 comes over from FC Zurich where she was the #1 goalkeeper. Friedli's career began at Zurich where she played six seasons, before moving to BSC Young Boys for two years. She later defended the colours of Fiorentina and FC Aarau before returning to Zurich last year. So the Swiss has no shortage of experience, especially as she was part of the Swiss selection during two international tournaments, and also reached the group stage of the Champions League with her club.
